Fall Away is a dramatic independent film written and directed by Julian Grant. Fall Away is noted for being the first feature film shot in Chicago entirely on a Canon EOS 7D.[1][2] The story of Fall Away was created by Grant Stokes, who plays the film's lead. The music featured in the film is that of Crooked Willow, the band fronted and assembled by Stokes.[3] Boris Wexler, the creator of Pillow Talks, is the film's producer.

Production

Principal photography took place between January and April 2010. The majority of the film was shot in Chicago, Illinois and features a number of the city's landmarks, including Millennium Park, Lake Shore Drive, and the South Loop. Additional filming took place in La Porte, Indiana and Nashville, Tennessee.[4]

Plot

Fall Away is a story about a new country music singer who, forced by prejudice to hide his sexual identity, builds a wall of secrets around him and ends up brutally murdered in a deserted Chicago alley.
