History
[edit]Founded in 1986, ICONICS is headquartered in Foxborough, Massachusetts near Boston. The company has offices throughout the United States, as well as in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Australia, China, France, Italy and Germany. ICONICS also has a joint software development and sales office in the Czech Republic.
Solutions
[edit]ICONICS has 250,000 installations worldwide.
Solutions include GENESIS32™, a suite of OPC-enabled HMI and SCADA applications, and BizViz™, manufacturing intelligence/business visualization software.
GENESIS64™ is ICONICS' newest suite, designed for 64-bit computing. ICONICS worked with Microsoft early on during the development of Windows Vista to integrate 64-bit features into its latest HMI/SCADA suite.
Involvement with other organizations
[edit]ICONICS industrial automation software solutions are tied closely to Microsoft operating systems. The company's first offerings were integrated with DOS, then evolved with the emergence of Microsoft Windows. ICONICS' current solutions integrate with, and are certified for, Microsoft's latest OSs, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008.
Named a 2008 Microsoft Gold Certified Partner of the Year[1] in the Independent Software Vendor(ISV)/Software Solutions category, ICONICS is a charter member of the OPC Foundation.[2]
