AAPC Publishing[edit]

AAPC Publishing (formerly known as Autism Asperger Publishing Company) is a U.S.-based international publisher with a range of non-fiction books, fiction books, and educational materials for autism spectrum conditions, neuroscience, and self-development [1]. Its office is located in Shawnee, Kansas City. AAPC Publishing books were translated into more than 20 different languages by international publishing licensees [2].

History[edit]

AAPC Publishing originated as a small Kansas City-based publishing company in 1999 by Dr. Keith Myles, as a result of a decision to self-publish “Asperger Syndrome and Difficult Moments” by his wife, Brenda Smith Myles, Ph.D. Under Dr. Myles’ ownership, it soon began producing autism spectrum condition and related disorders books which have reached out to 200 in a short time[3].

After Keith Myles passed away in 2017[4], AAPC Publishing was owned by Brenda Smith Myles, Haley Myles, Serdar Marun, and James Jones. In 2018, the company was bought by Serdar Marun.
