The subject of this article is an example article[1]. The introduction of the article summarizes its main points.[2] It is critical that you state why the subject is important[3] in the first paragraph of the introduction. The purpose of the rest of the article is to prove that the subject is notable[4] by showing that reliable, independent, published sources (books, newspapers, magazines, etc.) have written in significant detail about the subject.
Any time you add information to an article you should be able to back it up with a good source, and then provide an inline citation that results in a small number at the end of the sentence and automatic reference formatting in the References section below.[5]

to add references, click [edit], the find the sentence your want to source and place the cursor after the period at the end of the sentence. in the editing toolbar, click [cite] and select the kind of source (book, web, tv...). now fill in the fields you know and save.
