Professor Stephen Richard Larter FRS FRSC (Born 31 January 1953) is a British petroleum geochemist and presently the Canada Research Chair in Petroleum Geology at the University of Calgary and J.B. Simpson Chair of Geology at the University of Newcastle[1]. He is also the Scientific Director of Carbon Management Canada.
