I gave up regular editing, and any logged-in editing, a year or two ago. One of the main reasons for this was that I could see that the heirarchy of "importance" here (administrator > registered editor > unregistered editor) was damaging to the the project and making it next to impossible for "anyone" to edit without jumping through hoops and doing things to please self-appointed "patrollers" and the administrators who blindingly support them rather than do what is best for the encyclopedia, so I don't want to be part of that heirarchy.
I have realised that, as a non-logged-in editor, I might be accused of hiding behind a cloak of anonymity, so would like to say here that all of the edits till now at Special:Contributions/18.104.22.168 were made by me, and that my real name is Philip Bridger, known by most friends as Phil. I have not knowingly made any non-logged-in edits to any pages that I previously edited logged in.
Anonymity is an overrated value on the Internet by people who live in Western liberal democracies, and I wish that people who didn't have a good reason for it wouldn't hide behind it.
