Thanks for the help

Thanks a lot for helping me out with my skin. I'm really liking some of the features I've seen so far, though I might remove some stuff. Very helpful, thanks --frothT C 20:20, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Yeah if you could take out admin functions that would be great. The warnings are great, looks just like vandalproof. Thanks again --frothT C 20:32, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
The only problem I see is "Unknown property 'column-count'". And on user pages "Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'text-decoration'." --frothT C 20:45, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Oh of course thanks --frothT C 20:51, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Yeah I know and I neglected to remove the code that calls those functions. I took care of that just now --frothT C 21:11, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
F5 does the trick for me, try it --frothT C 21:15, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Oh OK I feel really dumb now. It's been restored --frothT C 21:22, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

VP

Oh yeah sure I'd love to, thanks for letting me know. --frothT C 03:23, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

About the moderator interface.. is the "awaiting appoval" pane supposed to work? Mine just always stays blank. It seems unnecessary to have to put their name into the box manually. --frothT C 07:07, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Problems with Vandal Proof

Hi,

I went to the page and downloaded the Vandal Proof. I then ran it and typed in my username and password in the box then clicked verify authorization and nothing happens. What should I do?

Wiki Raja 11:31, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Same here. Thanks for approving me so quickly though. Xiner (talk, email) 01:15, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Wonderful

Thanks I found somethings els to replace it with! Can you come up with a false advertisement? When and if you do place it unde my advertisement section! Thanks again --Darkest Hour $$$$ 21:02, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Hum

Well how about some funny Jokes? can I set it up to where people can put up different funny jokes? --Darkest Hour $$$$ 21:09, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Sure thing boss!!

Well no those wont be added. Because any jkes outside of the joke box will be evaluated and if not uphedl to certian standers will be deleted. Meaning rude, racist and jokes pointed at other users. This also includes any thing else I see fit. But for now I will see ho it goes. --Darkest Hour $$$$ 21:15, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

More on Vandal Proof

Hi,

Was wondering if there is a way Vandal Proof can just list random other pages with vandalism on it other than what I have listed in my watchlist. I also remember reading somewhere that there is a list of bad words search to delete. How do I go about doing that too? Thanks.

Wiki Raja 23:44, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

It sounds a little confusing. Would there be a list of pages with the bad words to change? Also, I have followed the directions on the Lupin page by cutting and pasting the code in the edit section of the page, then hitting ctrl + F5. I now have this page User:Lupin/Filter recent changes in which there are a bunch of pages that pops up showing the recent changes. Is that it?

Wiki Raja 01:27, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Also, whenever I try to click on rollover button, I get an error message. Wiki Raja 02:26, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Internet Explorer Error. Also, in the error box the error states that it is 'autoScript' is undefined. However, the box gives the the question if I want to continue to run scripts on the page. Wiki Raja 04:33, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

question

would it be okay if I used your userpage as the skeleton for mine? —Preceding unsigned comment added by All systems go (talkcontribs)

thanks a lot. ill try yours and see if I can figure it out.

Thanks for the Rollback

Thanks for taking care of that for me. In response to your question about VandalProof.... I had 1.22 and the 1.3 beta on my machine, but just upgraded to 1.31 when I first starting having problems. I am trying to use 1.31, but when I try to look at things with my watchlist or load the User Contribs for one user I get the Error 9 which seems to be noted on the bug page. It looks like a patch/upgrade is still pending to fix that? --After Midnight 0001 19:44, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Exactly. There are some files you need to make sure you have (probably not the problem, but..) See the SMF forums. Prodego talk 19:45, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Re: VP

Yeah I noticed that but wasn't sure what to do. I've removed the double approval notices. If I put a double-approved name in the box and hit "-" will that remove just one of their approvals or remove them altogether? Is there any way to remove just one? Is there any point? --frothT C 21:33, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

All right, done thanks --frothT C 01:49, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

VP

Hi, I tried to log in to VP, but it says I am not on the user list :(. Mike6271 01:23, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Still isn't working...I had the previous version installed, then uninstaller that. I restarted my computer, then unzipped the file and clicked on VandalProof 131. It asked for my username and password, language and root, then I clicked log-in to WP, then clicked Verify Authorization then it said "You are not on the user list." I am logged in on IE and Firefox. Mike6271 01:47, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
Just as another "idea" which probably won't matter...if the "m" in "Mike6271" is lowercase on the approved users list, would that make a difference? Mike6271 22:28, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
Thank you VERY much! It works now!!!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mike6271 (talkcontribs) 02:30, 11 January 2007 (UTC).

Hi i got your message... sorry but the above user was previously blocked for the same edits and refuses to comunicate and continues to make the same edits (please see his talk page).. several other users are reverting them aswell yet he continues on ---Paulley

Sorry.. but i had just spend two hours of my time trying to comunicate with this guy peacefully and helpfully for him to turn around and say i was just some fanboy that knows nothing of editing kinda craft my ass.. esspecially as i could have spent those hours making helpful edits or at least sleeping (it is like 3am here) --- Paulley
