Quadier "Vyrotek" Mackey is an Experimental Rock singer from Philadelphia, Pa. He is best known for combining rap into his experimental rock style.

Early life[edit]

Mackey was born and raised Philadelphia, Pa where he attended Kenderton Elementary School. There he met kids that used to beat on desk with pencils and make Hip-Hop beats. He soon picked up the skill and began writing songs.

In 9th grade, Vyrotek formed his first band. They were called "The Drowned," but they found out that a British band were already using it so they changed it to "Intepra", which was a cool word Vyrotek came up with (it is also a scramble of Pantera whom Vyrotek enjoyed listening to). Intepra met on a local website known as www.joinmyband.co.uk. Mackey was approached on a blog by Mike Matrone and was asked to join the band, Vyrotek accepted. Mike and the bassist Piotr Gazda were already friends but Vyrotek was new to the lineup.  A month later, the band recruited a guitarist named Nick but Nick never showed up to practice, when Nick was approached by Vyrotek about it, he frankly said "whatever" there being booted from the band. A few weeks later, they met Dave, Dave was also a guitarist but after he'd been in the band for only two weeks, he said "I dont have time for music right now. The band saw what was wrong which were education matters therefore respecting that matter and letting him go.  The band struggled for months just trying to find a guitarist. Piotr thought that it be better if the band broke up.  After so many attempts to find a guitarist, Vyrotek could not take it anymore, so he left the band because he felt they weren't going anywhere. The band also got into a bad argument, Vyrotek split (mostly due to creative differences) and started his own career. Vyrotek recorded 3 EP's afterwards but they were never released. They were mainly shopped to record labels but he was rejected by every label. He's been in and out of music projects since his break up from Intepra but he decided it be best if he stayed a PURE solo artist.

Vyrotek[edit]

After Vyrotek left Intepra, he began his own a career as a solo Experimental Rock artist. He also began to induct rap into his experimental rock style and utilized lyrics that were very personal and emotional.. In 2011, Vyrotek started recording his first album. The album will be released from his own Indie record label "Inteprasquad Studios Records" and will be called "I'm Just Different." It will be a mixture of Punk, Rock, and Rapcore. It is scheduled to be release on July, 13 2012.
