[edit]Sandy initially gained his technical knowledge as a student at the University of Michigan; namely, while working on the systems of one of the first sites connected to the NSFNET. Sandy graduated from the University of Michigan with a BS in Biology. He decided to continue his studies at Georgetown University; earning a Master’s in Biophysics and Physiology.
After graduate school, Sandy was further able to enhance his skill-set by serving as the lead technician at a Michigan-based network integration firm and Internet Service Provider.
