A Clear Midsummer Night, also known as Shengxiawanqingtian(盛夏晚晴天)， is a 2013 Chinese television series adapted from Liu Chen Feng’s a novel of the same name and it produced by H&R Century Pictures Co.,Ltd(欢瑞世纪影视传媒股份有限公司)[1] and Mei Ah Entertainment Co.,Ltd(美亚娱乐)[2]. Chen Baohua, who is the screenwriter from Hong Kong joined this drama, and Mak Koon directed it. Hawick Lau(刘恺威)[3] served as producer for the first time, and his girlfriend Yang Mi(杨幂）[4] starred together. Yang Mi was born in 12 September 1986. She is a Chinese actress and singer and she graduated from Beijing Film Academy[5]. She is noted for her roles as Guo Xiang and Tang Xuejian in the television series The Return of the Condor Heroes（神雕侠侣）[6] (2006) and Chinese Paladin 3（仙剑奇侠传3）[7]. (2009) respectively. Otherwise, Wu Jianfei（吴建飞）, Fan Siu Wong(樊少皇）[8], Wang Xiao（王骁）, Liang Youlin（梁又琳）[9] and so on, also starred in this drama. This 46-episode drama landed Jiangsu Satellite TV prime time on April 25.[10] Yang Mi plays the daughter of the mogul of the real estate business called Hualang Group(华朗集团）, Xia Wanqing. She is a very pure girl, after the dilemma event of Friends calculating, boyfriend breaking a pledge of marriage，Playboy Qiao Jinfan who is the son of Joe’s Group(乔氏集团）saved her from this dilemma. Qiao Jinfan claimed to the media persons that Xia Wanqing is his Fiancee, because of this, they started a trip of love with follow their fate. Jinfan and Wanqing never know that they already involved in a huge and complex conspiracy. Cynical eldest son of joe’s Group, Qiao Jinfan, suffered the bitter domestic calamity and strong commercial struggle, then he started grown up and became more mature. Beau is just a self-pretend of Jinfan, he is a sensitive person he care about his family and he really love his mother and try his best to protect her. Jinfan realized that he need to take the responsibility for his family company and his life as a man. Xia Wanqing always accompanied Jinfan and trust him all the time, when he faced the setback. Liang Youlin plays a mean girl Lai Xue in this drama,[11] she betrayed her best friend Wanqing and took her boyfriend Mo Lintian from her. She just started a revenge, because she is the illegitimate of the president of Joe’s Group and she never be recognized. She wants to help her mother Lai Fengyi(莱凤仪) and herself to become the members of Joe’, and she planned to get everything back which she thinks she deserved. Lai Xue took away Wanqing’ boyfriend back, the one reason is that she really loves him, the other reason is that she want to bring the Lingtian’s commercial program to the Joe’s Group as a chip for her backing plan. Lai Xue regained Lintian's mind at all costs, even she killed her own baby to create a accident of abortion.Mo Lingtian[12], he is not respected in Wanqing's family, because he has no money and powerless. When Lai Xue backed to him, he shaked his mind and chosed Lai Xue. In Lai Xue's repeatedlly persuasion, Mo Lingtian agreed to betray Hualang Group, and went to Joe's Group with a big and protential program.
