Apple Watch is always shipped with applications that were already pre-installed on the device and these applications vary based on the type of Apple Watch and the version of the  watchOS . Newer versions of the Apple Watch which is the Apple Watch Series 5 that is running on the newer versions of  watchOS  comes with useful application such as Activity, App Store, Maps, Mail, Music, stock, wallet, ECG, Heart Rate, News, Photos, Podcast, Weather, Workout and a lot more. Activity app on the Apple Watch keeps track of your daily movements which encourages you to meet your fitness goal. The app tracks activities such as how often you move from one place to another, how often you stand, how often you walk and run, and how many minutes of exercise you do. The app is designed with three colored rings that summarizes your progress and the ultimate goal is completing each ring everyday by sitting less, moving more and getting some exercise done. The App Store, app on the Apple Watch is where third-party applications can be downloaded from. Maps on Apple Watch allows you to find your way around by finding your current location, pan and zoom around the area and get information about locations, getting directions to a particular place and a lot more. Mail on the Apple Watch is useful if you want to clean out your inbox without pulling out your iPhone. Music application on the Apple Watch makes you listen to music on the go without having to carry your iPhone with you. The music can be streamed from your nearby phone or downloaded directly into the device. Stock application makes it possible to keep an eye on your investment by showing you data from the stock market where you can see the rise and fall of any stock on the device. The WalletApplication on the Apple Watch lets you easily access the cards and passes you added to the wallet app on the iPhone. The app offers an easy, secure and private way to pay on your Apple Watch by offering contactless payment and person to person payment where you can easily and securely send and request money from friends, family and business partners. The ECG application which stands for electrocardiograph is an app that records the timing and strengths of the electrical signals that makes the heartbeat. The app measures heartbeat rhythm using the electrical heart sensor on the Apple Watch and then checks the recording for atrial fibrillation (AFib). The app also checks these pulses to get your heart rate and see if the upper and lower chambers of your heart are in rhythm and a doctor can gain insight about your heart rhythm and look for irregularities. The Heart Rateapplication makes it possible for you to measure your heart rate during a workout, walking, breathing, or any other time of the day with the help of the built-in heart rate monitor. The , News application helps you keep up to date with events, presenting stories from all over the world.  It offers the latest headlines from the source you trust and news can be saved for later reading.
