The third government of Viliam Široký lasted from 11 July 1960 to 20 September 1963. Most of the members of the government were members of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, but there were also five representatives of other political parties NF, namely: 2 representatives of the People's Party, 2 representatives of the ČSS, and one representative of the SSO.

The term of office of the third government of Viliam Široký in Czechoslovakia, led by Prime Minister Viliam Široký, ran from July 11, 1960 to September 20, 1963. It replaced the Government of Viliam Široký II and was replaced by the government of Jozef Lenárt.

The new National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, elected in June 1960, approved a new constitution on July 11, 1960, which also necessitated a new government, headed for the third time by Viliam Široký. At the same time, the leading role of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia for the coming transition period to communism was also enshrined in the constitution. The new constitution postulated that the transition period was over and Czechoslovakia reached the stage of socialism, which was also reflected in the new name of the state - Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. After a meeting of the party's central committee at the end of May 1963, at which economic undesirable developments were particularly criticized, Jozef Lenárt became the new prime minister.

The ministers were in office for the entire regular term of office (July 11, 1960 to September 20, 1963), unless otherwise stated.
