Ranchos Turu Was a family run animal and fruit farm that was owned by the Tsuru Family. This farm was located in ciudad Valles,San Luis Potosi,in Mexico. The Farm was land that was awarded by General Saturino Cedillo to Dr.Kiso Tsuru for his services. Dr.Kiso Tsuru developed it from Jungle into a large farm of animals and fruit trees mostly Mangos and Avacado and won many regonal and State wide Awards. And for many years was the only one allowed to export mangos to from Mexico to Japan.[1].

History in the 1930s and 40s,Dr.Tsuru was a famous family doctor and for rural areas he was especially apriciated,so when several rich noblemen rebeled against the Mexican goverment, the ensuing battles often required doctors.Such was the case of General Cedillo. He went into battle against the troops of General . He owned this vast area of jungle in the outskirts of ciudad Valles.Dr.Tsuru helped with the wounded troops and so the General gave him 800 acers of land.[2]

The 1940s At first Dr.Tsuru had no clue what to do with so much land, but as World War II came to Mexico,he decided to help the Japanese in Mexico and safeguard them in his lands.Unfortunately the land was still too wild for the city born Japanese,so the land was never used for this purpose. The land was being cleared as early as 1938 and the first adobe house was constructed too. Then in 1945 the first Mango trees were planted,as well as the Avacado trees.[3]
