Kevin ‘Chef Kev’ Ashade is a gourmet chef based in Dallas, TX. Chef Kev graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, New York in 2009. At CIA, Kevin earned an associate degree in occupational studies in the culinary arts and a bachelor’s degree in professional studies in culinary management.

Chef Kev has served as a sous and executive chef at a number of 5-star restaurants such as Craft at the W Hotel in Dallas, Nana in the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, The Oceanaire Seafood Room Dallas, and at the Marriott World Center in Orlando. Chef Kev has also served as a family/private chef for professional athletes in the MLB, NFL, and NBA. Recognizing a gap in the private food service market within Dallas/Ft. Worth, Chef Kev founded GourmEATS Catering Services^[1] in 2013 dedicated to providing world-class culinary experiences.

Currently Chef Kev continues to run GourmEATS in Dallas and serves as a Task Force Chef Consultant for 1 Hotels in Miami. On April 14, 2016 Chef Kev will appear on the Food Network show ‘Beat Bobby Flay’^[2].
