Sand Q known professionally by his stage name Video4.0 is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, performer, fashion designer, author, and brand ambassador.

He began his careen in the early 2000s, by writing his first 2 books of short stories and poetry.

Early life and education

Video4.0 was born in Rochester, New York in a musically inclined family. A lot of his relatives were very gifted singers, including his mother who shared her passion to music and arts to young Sand Q.

As a teenager he moved to Miami, Florida . After graduating high school in Miami, he continued on to college to get his degree in Health Promotion. During his high school and college years football was a big part of his days finishing at Dallas Cowboys NFL team tryout and combine. ^[1]

He believes that football has taught him about the structure of life today. There are a lot of rules you must follow and authority you must deal with. Which depicts today's workforce. Yet, football isn't his dream in life. He quotes, "Sometimes on the way to your dreams, you find a better one." Writing has always been his passion and now it's become his living dream. I think Sand Quincy said it best when he made the statement, "I always tell the reader what they need to hear, instead of what they want to hear". ^[1]

Video4.0 during his interview explained what artists he admires: "I Like “USHER“— always for the people always gives 100% performance wise—smooth!! i also like “PITBULL”- very energetic of course Mr (305) miami-my home town, fun fun fun music but most importantly he makes music for every race color or creed…Mr International…i admire that—- and then there is ACE-HOOD & TRICKDADDY… – street grit- thug life type manner…i can get with it because thats the life i was raised in… so i respect it forever". ^[2]

In 2017 Sound and Track magazine published an interview with Video4.0.

Here is what Video4.0 said during that interview about writing music: "Songs come fairly easy to me…i never seem to run out of ideas when needing subject matter. its one of the perks of being a author. you have sorta like a one up on most artist-so to speak"^[2]

In 2019 Video4.0 officially announced opening of the label imprint, production and entertainment company "4ZERO ENTERTAINMNET". Within few month of opening, 4ZERO ENTERTAINMNENT signed 5 music artists.
