Irisu Syndrome! (いりす症候群!) is a freeware physics-based puzzle game released on October 2, 2008 for Windows PC by wtetsu. The game centers around the events of its titular character, Irisu Kyouko, and her four university classmates at a remote camping trip. An "enhanced" version of Irisu Syndrome! was later released titled as Irisu Syndrome! Metsu (いりす症候群!滅) at Comiket 77 on December 30, 2009. Irisu Syndrome! Metsu offers a new game mode, new music, and notes that explains storyline further. Irisu Syndrome! Metsu later made its way into the original freeware version as an unlockable side game after meeting a certain scoring criteria or by inputting a cheat code at the title screen. The game was originally released in Japanese, but a fan-made English patch was released by members of 4chan's /jp/ imageboard that translates the game and any text files that the player discovers into English.

[edit]Story
[edit]The story of Irisu Syndrome! takes place during a camping trip involving four university students. During one night of their camping trip, Edogawa, one of the university students, brings up a ghost story of a witch in very camping site they are staying at who kills people. Ironically, Edogawa was one of the first students who went missing the next morning. As the story progresses, more and more of the students disappear until eventually Ageha is the only student remaining on camping site.
