History
[edit]Founded by Taro Fukuyama and Sunny Tsang, AnyPerk was the first Japanese team to be funded by the Y Combinator seed accelerator.[2]
Funding rounds
[edit]In February 2015, AnyPerk closed its Series A financing raising $8.5 million[3]. DCM Ventures lead the round, with additional investment by original backer Digital Garage.[4]
In June 2014, AnyPerk raised $3 million in additional seed funding[5] from Zappos founder Tony Hsieh's Vegas Tech Fund, CyberAgent, and Digital Garage among others.

[edit]Employees whose companies have joined the AnyPerk platform are given access to over 850 discounts for products and services across a range of categories.[6] Movie theater tickets, travel, car rental, car sharing, dining, and electronics are examples of the types of discounts available.[7]
Rewards
[edit]AnyPerk's rewards feature is designed to enable spontaneous, immediate recognition for employees who go above and beyond. Managers can give out rewards such as gift cards, discounts to favorite stores, and dinning perks.[8][9]
