History
[edit]Pruślin was mentioned in 1401 as a knight’s village.[1] It was attached to the Ostrów parish in 1779. Since then, Pruślin history is directly related to the Ostrów Wielkopolski history. In 1936, according to the map of Military Geographical Institute, there were 105 houses in Pruślin. During the occupation of the city, the Germans introduced the German occupation name Preussendorf. Pruślin is a former local center of Saint Giles cult. It was attached to Ostrów Wielkopolski in 1979. The 1990s was a period of intensive development with single-family houses.
