- In the article Sinicization of Tibet, you have written :
The economy of Tibet is dominated by subsistence agriculture, that is agriculture with a destination to provide for one's family proper only. For this reason the entrance of 35.000 Chinese troops in the 1950s weighed heavily on the food supplies in Tibet. At Tenzin Gyatso, 14th Dalai Lama's visit to Mao Zedong in Beijing in 1954, Mao informed him that he would migrate 40,000 Chinese farmers to Tibet. ref Xinhua (30 August 2005) Ngapoi recalls the founding of the TAR ref ref name="silent war" Thomas, Lowell Jr. (1959) The Silent War in Tibet, Doubleday & Company Inc ref
I have translatted this on the french wiki, and I am being asked about citation concerning « At Tenzin Gyatso, 14th Dalai Lama's visit to Mao Zedong in Beijing in 1954, Mao informed him that he would migrate 40,000 Chinese farmers to Tibet ». Could please give me source and citation ? With many thanks. --Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 12:27, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- comment: JewishLeftist makes the allegation 'ultranationalist', common to the pro-Tibetan-separatist/independence Western bloc. YakLee, your statement that there are "no reliable sources" within PRC is false. HK media, by your ridiculous standards, could be considered reliable? Reliable does NOT mean NPOV. You should more clearly state there are 'no NPOV sources within PRC' your blatant unwillingness to listen to the other side, which is supported by international law, makes YOU a propagandist. From your sn, you appear to be one of those wannabe-an-American Koreans who are also angry (but wrongfully) about Goguryeo. ---华钢琴49 (TALK) 13:41, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
- lol what does YakLee's background have anything to do with the article? Lee can be a Chinese or English surname, and why the fuck would that even matter? Ladies and gents, this is the classic Chinese nationalist (an ultranationalist chinese is the same thing, there are absolutely no differences) method of trying to discredit anybody through means of trivial bullshit like the above. 'Wrongfully angry' about Goguryeo... uhh I'm sure wholesale history distortion by China is something anybody would rightfully have problems with. You know what, I'm going advocate Uyghur self-determination without even knowing the history, just out of spite. Akkies (talk) 01:11, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
