2025 BSN season

The 2025 Baloncesto Superior Nacional season is the 96th season of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). The Criollos de Caguas comes into the season as the defending champions, winning the 2024 BSN Finals. The regular season is set to begin on March 15, and end on June 30.

League news

  • On September 12th, it was announced that Cangrejeros de Santurce have reached a 5 year contract with Ángel Rodríguez worth up to $1.2 million dollars.[1] A day later, the Cangrejeros denied the deals worth and stated that they will not be disclosing the amount publicly.
  • On September 16th, the league held the first meeting of the 2025 season with league's commissioner,owners, and managers.
  • On October 11, Yadier Molina announced his departure from BSN after completing the sale of the Vaqueros de Bayamón franchise to Duars Entertainment.
  • On October 22, Capitanes de Arecibo co-owner and general manager Angel Edgardo Garcia leaves the franchise after 17 years.

  • 11 of the 12 BSN franchises voted in favor of the entry of a third reinforcement for BSN's upcoming 2025 season. Carolina voted against.
