DNS Made Easy was started in 2002 as a free DNS solution targeted at home users and small businesses. The initial draw of the services was support for dynamic DNS. The service allowed users to configure a registered domain in a web control panel and update a continuously changing IP address using a dynamic DNS software client. Demand for the services was high which required upgrades to the initial infrastructure. To support user requests and expanding infrastructure, DNS Made Easy was converted to a paid service months after launch in 2002 [4].
In the years since its founding DNS Made Easy has continuously expanded services and network infrastructure to offer enterprise level services to companies of all sizes.
