Declined speedy deletion request

[edit]

Hello, and thanks for your interest in speedy deletion. I declined your nomination of Y Trydydd Peth because the article did not meet any of the very narrow criteria for speedy deletion, including criterion G2 (test page). If you feel strongly about deletion, I suggest nominating the article for AfD. Let me know if you have further questions.

Nomination of Jennifer Hardy CK for deletion

[edit]

Hi there, I'm a bit new at communicating on Wikipedia. I did a few changes on the 1st paragraph of the article and the "National Post" & "NOW Magazine" used Jennifer Hardy CK's name that she had a lead role in "Spice It Up" feature film. There is an article of "Spice It Up" that is up on Wikipedia, has her name & her face on the film poster. Her name is also on "Vancouver Film Critics Circle Awards 2018" on wikipedia that she was nominated. Is there anything else that I need to add or change? Aalamina (talk) 22:16, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Aalamina:, kindly link me to the said article 10MB (talk) 07:28, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I just checked the Jennifer Hardy CK again, its unfortunate to say that i still do not see what she has done to make her notable enough for Wikipedia. However, do not feel discouraged, such does happen. Wait until enough has been written about her and her work in reliable and independent sources. If that happens, do leave me a message here with such sources so i can help 10MB (talk) 07:44, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@10MB:, Okay sure. There's this article (I wasn't sure if this could be used for wiki but let me know). Some of articles of her are so old that they're not there anymore. http://ilivewithadisability.com/wsim-what-suffered-inside-me/
@10MB:, There's also the RogersTV/DurhamNow News about her 2nd animated film: (1:34-2:21): https://www.rogerstv.com/media?lid=237&rid=2&gid=259152

You can !vote

[edit]

You can certainly vote at AFD discussions as creator of the article. People do it all the time.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 16:41, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, can i then go on and vote?? ThatMontrealIP. I am quite dissapointed that an individual has choosen only to be nominating articles. In this instance, Paul Da Prince is notable and has been nominated in detail in RS 10MB (talk) 16:46, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes go ahead and !vote, it is not against the AFD rules. I am not seeing the same motivation as you are regarding the nominator. Maybe you are not looking at his full contributions list?ThatMontrealIP (talk) 16:48, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. I will. I understand your sight in this. I was just concerned with the manner in which they have taken gap periods in editing and nominating articles. But it will be resolved soon i suppose 10MB (talk) 16:53, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It looks to me like it will be a keep, but let's see what the discussion holds!ThatMontrealIP (talk) 17:02, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, thanks you and keep well 10MB (talk) 17:23, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
