[edit]Hello, I'm Engr. Smitty. I noticed that you recently removed content from Finnish motorcycle Grand Prix without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Engr. Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Sam Lowes, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Engr. Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Jake Dixon, you may be blocked from editing. TylerBurden (talk) 16:18, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make unexplained changes to information on Wikipedia, as you did at Somkiat Chantra. Engr. Smitty Werben 16:36, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Valtteri Bottas. TylerBurden (talk) 21:29, 31 December 2021 (UTC)

Communication is required
[edit]Hi 118.101.36.210, if I see correctly, the block is primarily caused by a lack of communication from your side: No response to other users' concerns, no edit summary explaining your changes, and persistence in doing the same thing in more and more articles after the edit has been reverted again and again. It may be perfectly reasonable to remove the 2021 entries from the infobox on 01 January 2022, but you seem to be a few hours early in doing so, both in UTC and the article subjects' timezones. This would normally not require a block if it was done by someone the community can talk to. Sadly, the community was talking against a wall, and this is their reaction.
You may be blocked from editing (again, and probably for a longer duration) if you disruptively ignore community concerns. Please start communicating; use the 31 hours to respond to the messages above. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:56, 31 December 2021 (UTC)

. Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:04, 6 January 2022 (UTC)This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
