Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and gives you many benefits, including:
- The use of a username of your choice, provided that it is appropriate.
- The use of your own personal watchlist to which you can add articles that interest you.
- The ability to start new pages.
- The ability to rename pages.
- The ability to edit semi-protected pages.
- The ability to upload images.
- The ability to customize the appearance and behavior of the website.
- The eligibility to eventually become an administrator.
- Your IP address will no longer be visible to other users.
We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have on my talk page. By the way, make sure to sign your posts and comments with four tildes (~~~~), which will let others know who left it. --Bhadani 12:38, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
small edit at Genetic Algorithm
[edit]Hi. The sentence "Genetic algorithms find application in biogenetics..." was fine as it was; "find application" refers to the verb, not the noun, so it didn't need to be changed to "...find applications...". We appreciate your helping and it isn't necessary to always be a perfect grammarian, certainly I'm not; the encyclopedia is the net effect of everyone pitching in. March 2010
[edit]Hello, 12.26.42.2, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Our intro page provides helpful information for new users - please check it out! If you need help, visit Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on this page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Also, I would recommend that you get a username by clicking — creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. I also wanted to explain that I deleted your edit at Pat Sajak only because, when I went to fix the reference as your edit requested, I noticed that his involvement with the website Human Events is already mentioned in the article. Happy editing! Arxiloxos (talk) 15:52, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Trinitas Hospital (Reposted)
[edit]"I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Trinitas Hospital for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Mduvekot (talk) 03:01, 29 August 2017 (UTC)"
- 12.26.42.2 - This was posted on my talk page but the substantive concern is with your edits. RevelationDirect (talk) 03:22, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
April 2022
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Cheryl Blaylock, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. See WP:DOB. CodeTalker (talk) 20:02, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
