Hi there, this is a school computer.. I apologize on behalf of the student that was vandalizing. It might be best to ban computers from this IP address, otherwise more vandalism will (unfortunately) follow. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 142.22.16.56 (talkcontribs) 22:31, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Titoxd(?!?) 22:59, 17 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for vandalism - 10th block

You have been blocked for 3 months for continuing to vandalise Wikipedia despite repeated requests not to. Please note that this is now your tenth unique block, [3] and any further acts of vandalism will consequently result in a significantly longer ban. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to resume editing after the block expires. Until then, you shall be able to read Wikipedia articles, but not write page changes. Should you have any questions regarding this restriction of editing privileges, please do not hesitate to have your school or district system administrator contact me directly. Best regards, Hall Monitor 17:37, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This is a BC School district dynamic IP so not much anyone can do142.22.16.56 18:10, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Then please contact your school's admins or IT guys and let them be aware of the situation from this IP address. We've been getting vandalism attacks from people in your school, and the admins need to be aware of this in order to help reduce/resolve this conflict. We don't like having to block IPs, but this has gotten way out of hand from this particular address. Thank you. --LifeStar 18:13, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
This IP is shared throughout the entire province, not a single district (at present it is being used by Gleneagle Secondary School, which is not in the same district as Sentinel). Therefore, it is quite difficult to deal with this problem. Please unblock this address (or at least allow registered users to post from it, if that is possible), as the vandalism is not being perpetuated by the majority of users at this IP address. 142.22.186.13 17:41, 3 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Again, you will need to escalate this matter to your school or district system administrator. Please feel free to have them contact me directly to discuss this problematic issue. Best regards, Hall Monitor 18:11, 3 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think it would be a better idea to contact BC itself? Merely contacting the admins in separate school is not going to do anything. -- 142.22.16.56 17:16, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
