Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, 156.57.45.112. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Nimona (film), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. On top of the issue with the fact that your release date was unsourced, your edit summary implying that you are somehow personally connected to Chloë Grace Moretz is not appropriate. If this claim is true, please review the conflict of interest guidelines. silvia (User:BlankpopsiclesilviaASHs4) (inquire within) 00:12, 31 December 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Chloë Grace Moretz are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. [edit]Hello, I'm Leopardg. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Shadow in the Cloud, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Leopardg (talk) 18:28, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Shadow in the Cloud. Thank you. Leopardg (talk) 18:59, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Lucy Hale, you may be blocked from editing. resumed off block Geraldo Perez (talk) 21:36, 10 February 2023 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
