October 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Curtains (1983 film)—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 18:14, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Curtains (1983 film). Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 18:18, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm requesting to know (please forgive if this is not the correct way to do so) why quoting Leonard Maltin's review is considered "vandalism", particularly when this is his actual review and isn't meant to be "constructive" one way or the other. Please let me know.

I started a section on this at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Film#A "BOMB" rating. A permalink for it is here. Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 18:44, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
