[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of demonyms for US states and territories. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Stop changing this. That column is explicitly for the USGPO term. Meters (talk) 22:23, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
Do not use multiple IP addresses to disrupt Wikipedia, like you did at List of demonyms for US states and territories. Such attempts to avoid detection, circumvent policies or evade blocks or sanctions will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Enough. You have made this edit multiple times using various IPs. Next one gets you put up for a block. - As I wrote

Lying about the reference does not help. It is not a 50-year-old reference as you claimed. It is clearly from 2016. And it does not support your preferred version, as you claimed. Page 95 in the cited section, §5.23, clearly says "In designating the natives of the States, the following forms will be used. ... Connecticuter". Meters (talk) 21:02, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
