Your edits
[edit]Hi! I see that you've been going round rephrasing some sentences. That can be a good thing, but only if your edit is actually correct and does not change or garble the meaning. I've reverted a few such edits because they didn't meet that condition. For example, at Carlo Pedretti you changed "60 books and 500 essays and articles" to "60 books, 500 essays and articles", making nonsense of that phrase; at Edward Gathorne-Hardy you changed the verb of the clause beginning 'although' from the (correct) simple past 'worked' to the gerundive/present participle 'working', leaving that clause without a verb. At Oliver Messel you split a perfectly acceptable sentence into two, of which the second ("The second son of Lieutenant-Colonel Leonard Messel and Maud, who the only daughter of Linley Sambourne, the eminent illustrator and contributor to Punch magazine.") had no verb (and what is 'who the only daughter' intended to mean?).
Sometimes you've made more than one change in a single edit; at Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna you removed the word 'also' (acceptable) but then messed up the sentence starting 'In December 2008 ...', leaving it without a verb. Before you make any further edits, would you kindly review those you've already made, and ensure that they are actually correct? And revert all those that are not? Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 18:30, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hello! Thank you for the feedback, I'll be more mindful moving forward. I'll look through my previous edits as well. 19th-century account (talk) 18:35, 27 January 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ömer Suner
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ömer Suner requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. İmmortalance (talk) 06:27, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
