Information icon Hello, I'm Qed237. I noticed that you recently removed some content from FC Bayern Munich without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

There are several citations, all of which are conflicting. But if you look at the FC Bayern website, it does not list Benko, Steinhart or Pantovic on the website. They are not on professional contracts. There is a cite to the Bundesliga who will put anyone who has dressed for a Bayern game on the roster. This is not the official roster and my edits were appropriate. Please reverse. Thank you.

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at FC Bayern Munich. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. I am merely trying to provide accurate information. I have explained my position. On the contrary, no one has yet to explain to me how my edits are inaccurate. So, please either keep my edits OR provide evidence pointing out how I'm incorrect. Thank you.

The content you try and remove are sourced and if you want to remove it you should try and find consensus and view of other editors on the article talkpage. Qed237 (talk) 22:33, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

On the contrary, I'm reverting the page to sourced information - Footnote 147. It clearly defines by linking to accurate information. That's the team's official website with the official roster. Even better is the fact that if you visit the page of Pantovic and Steinhart, it even says there they play for FCB II not FCB. This is insane. Please stop wasting my time and ensuring that people the world over are misinformed.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would ask that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors. Is this a threat? And what have you done to prove that my edits are inaccurate? Please advise.

As I said, the content is sourced and should be discussed at the article talkpage if you want it removed as you need consensus. When editors continuw to do same thing over and over again without any discussion and agreement it is disruptive and may lead to a short block. Qed237 (talk) 17:19, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Show me evidence of this process for when these three players were added and my initial footnote was then disregarded as a result? I just want to ensure that whoever added that footnote (of misleading and factually inaccurate information) went through the same (painful) process that I'm enduring. What's fair is fair.

What is essentially happening is that I changed things. Someone changed my edits and I'm reverting them back to the accurate information, as the inaccurate information was clearly never vetted by anyone as it wouldn't have been permitted to stand. But now, apparently, once some total BS is posted, it's impossible to remove it and you, my friend, have started this "edit war". I just want an accurate record. You seem to be obsessed with a flawed system of posting. You are disrupting this process and are ensuring that false information is being provide to every viewer of this page. I find that shameful on a personal level. You seem to be more impressed with pointing out the weakness in the system than listening to reason, reviewing the history, (I can promise you that the three new names were never vetted on a talk page) and ensuring that Wikipedia only presents accurate information.

Information icon Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Mario Gómez, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Stats in football players' infoboxes

[edit]

Hello, I'm Jaellee. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Miloš Pantović were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, --Jaellee (talk) 17:06, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
