If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Life extension has been reverted.
Your edit here to Life extension was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLecJrXpOEU) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Request reason:

Dear Doc James, What I did was link to a Youtube video that was the same as an essay (also linked on the Life Extension page) but in video form. I did not know that this would be considered spamming. The Nick Bostrom essay "The Fable of the Dragon Tyrant by philosopher Nick Bostrom" was linked so I thought that it was OK to link to the same essay in animated cartoon form. Please note that the video was not an advertisement of any kind. Note also that this is a shared IP address. 24.127.201.40 (talk) 07:12, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You were spamming links ([1][2][3][4]), but failed to address that in this unblock request. Such behavior is not allowed per WP:SPAM. Vanjagenije (talk) 14:02, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This looks like spam / a scam to me.[5] Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 12:59, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I should point out that I put the links on the wrong page and after realizing it I put them on the right page. The "sweepstakes" is not a scam (they ask for no money) but an experiment in Basic Income. Like the Canadian "Mincome" experiment, they want to see how people will spend the money. Will people work less, work more, become alcoholics etc. 24.127.201.40 (talk) 07:09, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Of course they ask for money: The "Donate" button is big enough. Even if they didn't, Wikipedia is not a place for advocacy, no matter the cause. Huon (talk) 10:23, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
