October 2017

[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Toyota Camry Solara, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 08:14, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Lincoln MKT, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GS 08:52, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Toyota Harrier. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. GS 19:29, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Toyota Mirai. GS 20:15, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war

[edit]

Hi, I'd rather not see you blocked so you could you self revert and go to the talkpage ?, If not I'll have to report you for WP:Edit Warring which as I said I'd rather not do,
Just to note as per WP:BRD you are required to go to the talkpage, Thanks. –Davey2010Talk 21:35, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@2600:8802:1007:6400:70CB:6F65:F0B9:18C: Since you've continued with disruptive editing (or subtle vandalism) after four warnings and offers assuming your good faith to discuss the changes you wish to make, I'm undoing your blanking. Even if it's against the WP:REMOVED guidelines, this is a better display of the chronological steps (aside from our helpful revert comments) the community has taken to assist you, rather than uninvolved editors having to page through a number of diffs. - GS 22:40, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Recent contributions from the same /64 range

[edit]

Admins or others who are following this issue can view: Special:Contributions/2600:8802:1007:6400::/64. That report shows that another IP from the same /64 is active at: Special:Contributions/2600:8802:1007:6400:3082:934F:123A:169C. Since the other IP is also editing about Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid it seems likely to be the same editor. If we can't get this user to respond at WP:AN3 or to participate in discussions then a block of the /64 may be logical. EdJohnston (talk) 15:03, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm closing the AN3 report with a range block of the /64 named above for edit warring, and semiprotection of Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid. Let me know if any other articles need semiprotection. See WP:GAB to get the instructions for appealing this block. EdJohnston (talk) 19:32, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

November 2017

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Continuation of the pattern of edit warring on car articles as reported above, and recorded at the edit warring noticeboard in October. The /64 block can be seen at this log. EdJohnston (talk) 15:28, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
