Hello 2604:2000:8099:3700:AD68:74B0:7D21:73C8. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:2604:2000:8099:3700:AD68:74B0:7D21:73C8. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=2604:2000:8099:3700:AD68:74B0:7D21:73C8|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. MrOllie (talk) 16:39, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Promotional editing at Oren Moverman, again. Thank you. 153.230.173.82 (talk) 16:39, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Why your edits are being removed

[edit]

I'm W.K.W.W.K (short for "We keep what we kill"). I'm an editor just like you in Wikipedia. I thought I'd drop by your page and see if I couldn't explain why your editing keeps getting removed. First and foremost, all Wikipedia entries need to have reliable sources. That's one of the few rules that are written in stone. That means everything you write has to have a reliable source with it, we can't take your word for it, or just leave it in because it seems plausible. There has to be a reliable source to back up anything written. (You can see this your self over in this guideline).

Secondly, promotional writing is definitely not encouraged in Wikipedia, in fact, the less promotional , the better. This is an encyclopedia, not a commercial. This is actually in writing in this guideline.

Third, if you're connected to the subject, it's really not a good idea to write about that person. You can certainly raise concerns on the talk page, but steer clear of editing about that person as it might give the impression that you have a conflict of interest.

No, we don't want to stop you from writing, but if you'll take note of what I just mentioned, you'll notice your writing sticking around longer! W.K.W.W.K...Toss a coin to the witcher, ye valley of plenty 18:45, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
You need to register an account and make the mandatory paid editing disclosure. Do not edit the article directly. Make edit requests on the article talk page instead. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 20:22, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
