Information icon Hello, I'm BusterD. I noticed that you recently removed content from John Brown Gordon without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Why is this ip user removing captions from biography article info boxes?

[edit]

Today about three dozen or so articles have seen captions removed with zero explanation. Why are these captions being removed? BusterD (talk) 19:30, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at John Lynch (New Hampshire). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Steve Lux, Jr. (talk) 01:09, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to West Virginia gubernatorial election, 1952. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jim1138 (talk) 04:44, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

WV is not a "country". Please use an wp:ES. Jim1138 (talk) 04:46, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please don't change "As of..." years to {{CURRENTYEAR}} because that template updates automatically. benzband (talk) 13:49, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Rick Scott. Your edits are unhelpful and fit a pattern of misediting articles regarding elections, politicians and officeholders (past and present). These have all been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Further vandalism will result in a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Quis separabit? 15:47, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
