I do not believe it is not neutral. It is a fact. Facts cannot, by their nature, be bias. Facts have no interests. They simply are the truth. Also I disagree in the implication that it does not contribute. Iowa and Iowa State first played each other in 1894 and have played each other annually since 1977. The fact that Iowa State has only won 8 home games in the course of the rivalry is interesting. Most of their wins have come in Iowa City. That is not something that most people would have assumed.
