Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

Access date
[edit]You are using the |access-date=
parameter incorrectly. It should refer to the latest date the source was accessed. That would usually be the same date the edit was made. --Muhandes (talk) 11:10, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you. I was confused and used the date it was published even though it does not really state it. I will be aware of that next time. 75.87.16.142 (talk) 21:46, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hi again. I'm not sure we are on the same page. After this message, you made this edit and again
|access-date=30 July 2022
. This is strictly impossible since|date=1 August 2022
, so you state that you (magically?) accessed the source a day before it was published. To quote {{Cite web}},|access-date=
refers tp the[f]ull date when the content pointed to by url was last verified to support the text in the article
and later,access-date is the date that the URL was found to be working and to support the text being cited.
Assuming you checked the source that you provided on the day you made the edit, I would expect to see|access-date=17 January 2023
. Muhandes (talk) 12:27, 18 January 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Do not use multiple IP addresses to disrupt Wikipedia, like you did at Expensive Pain. Such attempts to avoid detection, circumvent policies or evade blocks or sanctions will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Block evasion by User:Rishabisajakepauler. Binksternet (talk) 20:25, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
