Battle of Queenston Heights

I may have been more than a trifle brusque in my reversal of your recent edit to the Battle of Queenston Heights. There has recently been a most unpleasant series of editing wars on topics related to the War of 1812, involving one editor who has used multiple sockpuppet accounts and IP addresses to make disruptive edits. If I have confused you with that particular pest, please accept my apologies.

Nevertheless, I feel the reversal should stand. Whereas "...raised the Indian war-whoop..." is specific (and evocative), "...cried for war..." is far too vague and even abstract. Your other edits were valid, but not sufficient improvement to the article to warrant all of them being retained (in my personal opinion, of course).

Might I suggest that you create a Wikipedia account, to avoid possible conflicts of this sort in future? Regards, HLGallon (talk) 16:51, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
