You should finally notice the difference between Ireland (an island), Ireland (Republic of Ireland) and Achill Island (an island off the coast of Ireland within the Republic of Ireland. The last time I visited Achill Island it was separated from the mainland by the Achill Sound. The Banner talk 21:58, 16 May 2016 (UTC)

Achill has been joint on to the mainland since 1887 by Michael Davitt Bridge. also The Croaghaun page backs up what I have said.

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Slieve League. It is vandalism to read that bad that you regard Ireland (the whole island that contains Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland) as the same island as Achill Island. The fact that you need a bridge to get on Achill Island, should give you an idea of the concept of an island.
