Hello,
just to let you know that I'm the responsible of a national reference laboratory of Nematology. I also belong to the EPPO panel on Diagnostics in Nematology and the EURL for Plant Parasitic Nematodes. As such, I can assure you I'm very well aware of Bursaphelenchus xylophilus' common name and IT'S NOT pine wilt nematode! This name doesn't exist! The common name of B. xylophilus is PINEWOOD NEMATODE!
Thank you for your attention!
