February 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Please note that the verifiability policy mandates that unsourced material that has been challenged, such as by a "fact" tag, or by its removal, may not be added back without a reliable, published source being cited for the content, using an inline citation. The cited source must clearly support the material as presented in the article, and the burden is on the person wishing to keep in the disputed material. So if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so, following these requirements! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Factual errors in your edits[edit]

  1. Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. This edit changed the adoption of the station's 2nd logo from 1958 to 1956. According to Retro revival: CBC's changing logo through the years shows the info prior to your edit, i.e. 1958, to be correct.
  1. The Dark Side of the Moon. This edit changed the band's recording date from May to June. According to Landmark Productions: Pink Floyd – The Dark Side of the Moon, they did indeed begin recording in May.

You are introducing mistakes into the Wikipedia, and I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt and chalk them up to carelessness rather than malice. Please take care to research a topic before making changes, and be 100% sure that what you are changing is a genuine correction. ValarianB (talk) 16:21, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

February 2017[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:36, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to ITV Central. RA0808 talkcontribs 19:16, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of programs broadcast by Cartoon Network (Japan), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. –Davey2010Talk 14:49, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The O2 Arena, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page This Is It (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
