If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Prevention Innovations Research Center, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:49, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Editing organisations, people, products or services and creating pages for organizations that do not currently exist but have relevancy in regards to notability and educational programs; I am a new user and wanted to work on drafts before publishing to reduce biased, soapboxing, or advertising language. The pages I have created reflect other educational programs and organizations such as the Green Dot Bystander Program, with notability and recognization nationally and internationally of the research center I drafted. I will edit before posting drafts or creating new pages to be in compliance with Wiki policies.

Decline reason:

To be in compliance with Wiki policies, you will need to avoid conflicts of interest. Now that you know this and know you won't be writing about PIRC, what will you write about instead? Yamla (talk) 13:17, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I disclosed my conflict of interest as to avoid this problem however I am not sure how to appeal to Wikipedia so that I can write about something that doesn't exist encyclopedically but could meet the right requirements to be. I am new to Wiki and have been reading about policies so it is not my intention to "soapbox" and have done my best to create an unbiased page. I do not understand how someone else will create a wiki page about an organization that is notable and already exists. Is there a request to an administrator to do so? How do I go about this without a conflict of interest or how to I have someone else review and/or create a page about an evidence-based program/an organization that is already publicly recognized. If there is another platform to have this discussion please let me know because I am truly trying to learn about the process and if this is even possible. Thank you.

Decline reason:

There are ways for you to suggest an article(not "page") be created about your organization, but not if you are only here to edit about that. Wikipedia is not interested in what an organization wants to say about itself, only in what independent reliable sources state. If you want to be an individual, general Wikipedia contributor, please tell what you will edit about that is unrelated to your conflict of interest. After a time, you might be permitted to indirectly suggest edits related to your COI. If there is nothing else you want to edit about, you won't be unblocked and should find alternative outlets. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 15:29, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
