[edit]Hello, I'm Nthep. Your recent edit to the page Peter Crouch appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Nthep (talk) 14:24, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
Stats updates and infoboxes, timestamp
[edit]Hi, I just wanted to let you know that when updating player statistics both in career stats section and infobox, you MUST update the timestamp to say when update was made.
You can update the infobox timestamp in two ways, either by updting the club-update or pc-update parameter in the infobox by using five tildes (i.e. |pc-update=~~~~~
) or manually adding the date (i.e. |pc-update=11:40, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
). The first alternative with the tildes are most commonly recommended as the risk of errors are minimized.
In the career stats section just updating the date manually above the table (sometimes it is below).
Not updating the timestamp can lead to other editors looking at article and saying "ohh it has not been updated" and then add same cap/goal again.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 11:40, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
- Come on mate, you MUST update the timestamps. When infobox say "as of 30 August" and you add content after that it is incorrect content and incorrect update. QED237 (talk) 16:12, 15 September 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Sergio Agüero. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 12:33, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
re:Agüero
[edit]Hi, First of all there is consensus not to live update during the matches, which I clearly stated in edit summary. Secondly you have not updated any timestamp (ever) despite being told to do so and informed how to do it on your talkapage. QED237 (talk) 12:48, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
- I looked at your edits and no, you never updated timestamp at Aguero page, you altered your talkpage timestamp to incorrect time (it is always listed in UTC), but never the article. QED237 (talk) 12:59, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
- If you say you did, then please show me what edit you did it. QED237 (talk) 13:14, 13 September 2014 (UTC)

Timestamps again
[edit]Please read the information above on how to update the timestamp, you MUST update the timestamps. In your recent edit (press link) you forgot to update |pc-update=
yet again and timestamp over career stats table in article was not updated either. When infobox say "as of 30 August" and you add content after that it is incorrect content and incorrect update. Also other editors may come and say "Oh, it has not been updated since 30 August" and add the same caps and goals again, making stats more incorrect. QED237 (talk) 16:15, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
