Claire McCaskill[edit]

Per your request, I have added information relating to the federal drug investigation of Claire McCaskill to the Wikipedia article on her. --TommyBoy 07:25, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection[edit]

Adding the semi-protection template will not semi-protect an article. That template only is a way of alerting to people that an article is semi-prot. Only admins can semi-protect an article. If you think the level of vandalism on the Devos article is severe enough for semi-protection you should make a request as WP:RPP (I will however note that I don't think the level of vandalism is severe enough to justify semi-protection). YouTube Sources in Claire McCaskill Article[edit]

The links you provided from YouTube, as sources for the federal drug investigation regarding Claire McCaskill have been removed from the article for non-compliance with Wikipedia policy. Do you know of any other Internet sources for the investigation which comply with Wikipedia policy? --TommyBoy 04:55, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

An anonymous user has removed the information from the article, which I have since reverted, explaing my actions on the article's Talk page. --TommyBoy 17:43, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free use disputed for Image:Nakedeyes fuelforthefire.JPG[edit]

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Nakedeyes fuelforthefire.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:33, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to lesbian/gay topics on Wikipedia.[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you edited the article Robert Christgau and claimed that Robert Christgau is gay. Unless this person is somehow notable, their sexual orientation does not belong on Wikipedia. Also, any information about a person's sexuality must be verifiable and supported by outside sources.

You are welcome to make positive contributions to gay-related articles such as "homosexuality" and "gay pride". For an example of a biographical article about a notable gay person, see "Ellen DeGeneres". There is also a LGBT noticeboard if you are interested in lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues on Wikipedia.

Thanks and welcome! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. / edgarde 05:16, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Meh, Foxtrot was better.[edit]

Saw your name on my watchlist and had to say something about your username. Apologies :) Will (talk) 21:41, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

3RR[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. -- zzuuzz (talk) 22:28, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added a link to Newsbusters to the Keith Olbermann article. Will this end your edit war? Gamaliel (talk) 21:48, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Interestingly, another user has reverted my addition of this link. Perhaps you would care to add your input at Talk:Keith Olbermann. Gamaliel (talk) 23:45, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cultural Refs for Victor Emmanuel[edit]

Hello, Abacab. I'm puzzled that you just undid my deletion of the strange "Cultural reference" which was earlier added to Victor Emmanuel II of Italy: "The "Victor Emmanuel" is also the name of a cocktail invented at the L'Hirondelle Club in Baltimore, Maryland by bartender Robert Chiles. It is a favorite of connoisseur Edward Schatz." This clearly has little relevance to the article about a historical figure. Even more important, do you have any evidence at all that it is true? Finally, even if both relevant and true, is there a reason to say more than such a drink exists? Tim Ross (talk) 00:17, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
