[edit]Please stop editing pages to suggest that Hong Kong is a country. While it possesses a high degree of autonomy, calling it a country implies that it is a sovereign state, which it is not. Please also see Wikipedia:Edit warring – you will be blocked if you continue to refuse to engage in discussion with other editors and edit in an disruptive manner. Sovereignty is a disputed concept. According to international law (UN), regions such as Taiwan are technically under China. Other regions such as Puerto Rico, Tibet are also contested. All the sections are under the legitimate name Hong Kong, China now. (talk)
- The sovereignty of Hong Kong is not disputed: Hong Kong has been governed by the one country, two systems principle since 1997, that one country being the PRC. This is enshrined in Hong Kong's Basic Law and is uncontroversial. Cobblet (talk) 09:15, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
