Hello there. I've asked for the logo to be deleted. Please upload it to Wikipedia, not Wikicommons. Please include the source.

Also, please tell us the source of the text content of the article. What website is it from? Many thanks, and welcome. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:02, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:00, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to upload the image again on Wiki Commons and was unable to do so. Also, my page is still not verified on wikipedia. So, Will I have to wait to upload the Logo of my college on the page I created? Please let me know what my plan of action should be. regards. --Abhinav72 (talk) 01:06, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading the logo to commons. I restored the file because it seems you could provide the necessary licensing information. Someone filed an DR on commons ( https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/File:CPR_LogoBlack.jpg ) because the image seems not to be your own work. It would be great if you corrected the appropriate information fields:

 |date=2012-12-08 00:10:18
 |source=Own work
 |author=Abhinav72

Thanks again. --McZusatz (talk) 10:37, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

So, you have given me two options. I can change that where it says its my own work because it was created by me along with our student body. Or I can ask our principal designer to whom we attributed the credit to create to logo to send in an email like you mentioned in the personal email taking credit for the creation of the logo but not being the sole owner of it as it was gifted to our medical college to adopt the logo which our medical college did. And the logo is not being used as a personal resource, but is on a page which has been created for the medical college. Please let me know if I should do either of the two or do both. Thank you. I am sorry if this has been too much trouble for you guys. Actually, I was just disappointed that my college information and logo was not here on wikipedia. Because of this, when I was interviewing for a residency position in the States, they printed the logo of the other college on my id card from the same city because they could not find any information about our college on wikipedia and could not find the logo. This hurts as I am proud to be a ex student and part of the alumni of my medical school. So, please let me know how I should go about it and I shall follow suit. Regards

Quoting user:Anna Frodesiak:
I would suggest the OTRS solution.
Simply assign an owner or representative of the organization that owns it,
and that person can email in the OTRS permission.
