Hello, I'm Oshwah. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Odessa Oblast seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 10:25, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

How to edit better

[edit]

Your recent edit to the article on Odessa Oblast‎ was to add the following paragraph.

Odessa has been the cradle of a siginificant amount of renown musicians. Some of the most eminent violinists in history were born here: Mischa Elman, Nathan Milstein, David Oistrakh (and son Igor), Leonid Kogan. Violist Yuri Bashmet. Pianists: Benno Moiseiwitsch, Vladimir Horowitz, Sviatoslav Richter, Emil Gilels, Shura Cherkassky. Conduutor Jascha Horenstein. Composer-conductor Igor Markevitch. Composer Reinhold Glière.

To make this useful, you need to have citations to reliable sources, not just for individuals being from Odessa Oblast, but also for the linking bit "Odessa has been the cradle of a siginificant amount of renown musicians". Because you did not do this, it got reverted.-- Toddy1 (talk) 11:45, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
