Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, Webdevelopercdn, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Drmies (talk) 03:20, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please lodge a new unblock request demonstrating your understanding of the purpose of Wikipedia, our conflict of interest policy and why the article you created, CDN 37 - News TV Station, may not be consistent with either. MER-C 13:06, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

this was my first time creating a page on wikipedia, i work for the TV channel and they requested me that i create the wikipedia page for them, but i now see that some information including the title may seem like advertising, i will fix this and remove all the links on the body of the page, and work with our marketing department on creating a real history/description page about our company and not an advertising one

Decline reason:

Procedural decline: no response to our questions. Max Semenik (talk) 18:51, 18 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I've went ahead and renamed your account to the requested name. Your username now meets policy, but you will still need to wait for an admin to unblock you. Sit tight, and make sure you answer all their questions.—cyberpowerChat:Online 20:55, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the three important principles above. SQLQuery me! 22:48, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
