On October 10, Jay Park held AOMG‘s launch party at club THE A in Yeoksamdong of Gangnam, Seoul which was filled with performances by Dok2, Zion-T and Jay Park himself that hyped up the party.Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). Some celebrities that attended the event were Justin Bieber, G-Dragon, CL, Dara, Hyoyeon, Ga In, Kangin, Ryeowook, G.NA and others. Jay has prepared for founding AOMG for a long time until he found it in August. iHQ will still be in charge of Jay’s management but only the album producing of Jay Park will be dealt with AOMG. When asked by Dutch radio station FunX why start an independent label when he can go for other major labels out there, Jay responded by saying “I am accustomed to doing things my way right now and I don’t want to give up creative control just for more promotion/exposure. I want to do stuff my way and be successful my way and that way it will be more fulfilling”. Jay Park is set to produce a number of activities which will include compositions and productions and will focus on releasing hip hop and R&B materials. The label is also keen to expand and start training upcoming musicians. He reportedly enlisted the help of his friend and producer Cha Cha Malone and collaborated with other top producers and composers he has previously worked with. AOMG will be also leading hip hop fashion and culture in the near future.
