Speedy deletion of Emily Rozek[edit]

A tag has been placed on Emily Rozek requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Warnings[edit]

February 2009[edit]

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Wikipedia:User page, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Terrillja talk 17:28, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Melanie Layton[edit]

FYI, Melanie Layton was deleted and redirected per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Melanie Layton. Reinventing the article under the unnecessary disambiguation Melanie Layton (fictional character) may be construed as an attempt to circumvent that deletion decision. I am going to redirect your new article; if you so choose, you can rebuild the article at Melanie Layton, but know that in its current state it is merely plot summary without references or real-world context/notability, and is likely to be deleted/redirected again. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 23:13, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

October 2009[edit]

Hi, thanks for adding to the encyclopedia. Unfortunately, a recent edit (see [1]) of yours to Barack Obama was reverted as being inappropriate. Note:

  1. The consensus, as documented on the FAQ page, is that the article should refer "to him as African American".
  2. The article is on article probation, meaning that "Editors making disruptive edits may be blocked temporarily from editing the encyclopedia, or subject to other administrative remedies, according to standards that may be higher than elsewhere on Wikipedia. Please see Wikipedia:General sanctions/Obama article probation for full information and to review the decision."
  3. I apologize for making this point, but making a change, such as you did, that is in direct contradiction to the FAQ without even discussing it on the talk page could be construed as disruptive.

Thanks, --4wajzkd02 (talk)
