Request for usurpation
[edit]Hello, Acagastya. A request has been made at Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations (or meta:SRUC) to usurp, or "take over", your username because another user would like to use it to edit. The changing username guideline allows a username that is not being actively used to be usurped if the user is given an opportunity to object and does not do so.
If you do not object to being renamed to a new username in order for another user to use the name you currently have, please log in and post a reply here saying so (you may also tell us what username you would like to be renamed to, or we will provide you with a generic one).
If you do nothing: the request may be filled shortly, and your account will be moved to a generic username. You may request that it be moved to a new username of your choice at any time.
If you object to being renamed: please log in and make an edit to this page clearly stating that you object to usurpation. Any objection on your part will prevent usurpation. However, keep in mind that you may still be renamed during mw:SUL finalization.
Please note that even if your current username is usurped, you can still edit and your data will not be lost; your preferences, watchlist, and other user settings will be transferred to a new username.
Thank you for your time. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 14:24, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
Hello, User:k6ka! NO Objections. I have no problem in this case (as I am the one to request that change).
I wish to have username aGastya if possible(else aG_astya will also do).
- it's not entirely clear what you want done. Could you explain further? –xenotalk 23:53, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
But the change I have requested in Usurpations, i wish to have acagastya (all in lower case). Is that possible? Thanks --Acagastya (talk) 08:50, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
I have no problem or any issue on this change. Green signals for username change (or uspuration process) --Acagastya (talk) 04:45, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

[edit]On second thoughts, by far the most relevant place to put it be the 'Endorsements' article. It should also go in the brexit section, not at the top of the article. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 22:20, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
- @John Maynard Friedman:Thanks for leaving a message after the revert. Noted.

[edit]Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Marco Reus, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 23:15, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Mattythewhite:The reliable source was next to it. Only if you checked the sister link.

[edit]Apologies, it must have been an oversight. I was reverting mainly to the clearer infobox image. The Madras (talk) 08:57, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
